Summary of Duties
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service and support to all W & W customers whether in person, written, telephonic or virtual.
Drive sales to achieve seasonal sales goals/targets
Working knowledgeable of resource materials
Participate in training and skill development to meet the needs of the business
Follow and initiate all back-office operational activities, such as opening, closing and cleaning.
Complete training and follow all sales and operational protocols, such as but not limited to:
- Point of Sale Systems - Edge for Jewelers, Shopify
- Merchandise jewelry displays
- Repair and special orders
- Physical inventory
Qualifications:
- Require minimum of 1+ years successful sales/retail management experience, with a preference for experience selling luxury goods and/or fine jewelry.
- Must be proficient in performing all POS transactions and company SOPs.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Punctual, flexible, reliable and dependable.
- Outgoing personality and ability to get along well with others.\Willingness and ability to effectively provide positive and constructive feedback as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Tuesday to Friday with a rotating Saturday shift. Willingness to work extended holiday hour in November and December.
- Average 20-25 hours per week.
- Additional hours during holiday season (must be available December 15-24)
- Minimum of one Saturday a month
Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Use of ladder up to 4ft feet tall
- Position requires prolonged periods of standing/walking around store
- May involve reaching, crouching, kneeling, and stooping
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, necessary to perform job functions, including handheld equipment, cash register and ability to process register transactions
Education:
- High school or equivalent
Wages start at $17 base pay with 2% commission on sales.
