If you visit our store between April 2 and April 11, you will be greeted by a display about Yooper Singles. Yooper Singles is the first, and so far only, dating website exclusively for the Upper Peninsula.

You may be wondering, why is this display set up at Wattsson & Wattsson Jewelers? We are an official venue for SmartPrize. Science Fair meets Shark Tank in this ten-day competition in downtown Marquette. Entrepreneurs and innovators are displaying their business or product idea in venues throughout Marquette’s Downtown District. When we were approached by Yooper Singles to be their venue, it seemed like an obvious fit!

We encourage you to get out and visit all the venue and exhibitors. It is truly amazing to see so many ideas being generated right in our community. Plus, you can vote for your favorite exhibit. The exhibit with the most votes wins $2,000. A list of all venues and exhibits can be found here. We also have maps available in store.
